### Added: A front door for AI agents

September 25, 2026 at 10:00 PM · by Carlos Arias

Other people's AI assistants can now reach me on their behalf. A machine-readable contact endpoint — built on the open Agent2Agent (A2A) standard and discoverable at a well-known address — takes an inquiry and drops it into the same inbox as the website form. No form-filling, no account, and it never speaks for me: it only passes the message along.

### Updated: Sharper cover art for articles

September 25, 2026 at 8:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

Article cover images are now made by a new, higher-quality image engine — the same hand-brushed ink style, rendered with more detail and more faithful to each piece. The switch also made the artwork far cheaper to produce, so every published article reliably gets its own cover.

### Updated: Phrase Monitor: add a phrase to any page

September 25, 2026 at 7:06 PM · by Carlos Arias

An Add keyword button at the top of the Phrase Monitor opens a short form with a list of every page on the site, so a phrase such as “marketing engineer” can be tied to the page that should be the answer. Pages that had never been tracked before can now be chosen too, where saving used to fail.

### Added: New articles are shared to LinkedIn automatically

September 22, 2026 at 4:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

When an article is published it now posts to LinkedIn on its own — a proper post carrying the article's cover image, its headline and a short summary, with a link back to read the whole piece here. Connecting the account is a one-time step on the plugins screen, and sharing can be switched off there at any time without disconnecting.

### Updated: The Reddit monitor shows the latest first and files the rest

September 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM · by Carlos Arias

The monitor now opens on the last day of discussions, newest first, rather than the whole backlog ordered by score — so what is current is obvious at a glance. Older threads move to an Archive a click away, and the ones the judge rated below the bar are filed under Not qualified, keeping the promising posts in front. Watched and shortlisted threads stay in view whatever their age.

### Fixed: Text no longer depends on JavaScript to appear

September 20, 2026 at 2:12 PM · by Carlos Arias

Copy that fades in as you scroll started out invisible and was revealed by a script — so with JavaScript switched off or failing, some of it never showed at all. It now falls back to visible when there is no script to run it.

### Fixed: Faint text made readable on the tinted sections

September 20, 2026 at 2:10 PM · by Carlos Arias

Secondary text on the pale grey bands sat just under the contrast level the accessibility standard asks for — fine for most eyes, hard for low-vision readers and on a phone in sunlight. It has been darkened a touch so it clears the mark everywhere it appears, with no visible change to the design.

### Added: An accessibility check that reads like a lawyer, not a scanner

September 20, 2026 at 2:05 PM · by Carlos Arias

Inaccessible websites are sued under the same disability law as buildings, and the usual fix — a bolt-on widget with a contrast button — does not touch the page and has itself drawn lawsuits. A new ADA Compliance screen under SEO checks the real code instead, ranking what it finds by legal exposure: images with no description, fields with no label, links with no text, and faint text come first. It filters the false alarms these tools are known for, so the number shown is worth acting on.

### Added: Pages can be added from the admin

September 20, 2026 at 10:45 AM · by Carlos Arias

New pages no longer need code. Adding one from the Pages screen gives it a real address straight away — either its own top-level URL or a spot inside an existing area — and every page on the site now appears in one list.

### Added: A single source of truth page

September 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM · by Carlos Arias

One canonical page describing who Carlos is, what he does and the proof behind it — written so answer engines and journalists describe him the same way the site does. It reads from the same records the About, Résumé and Services pages use, so there is no second version of the facts to drift.

### Fixed: Alt text added to the Nova articles screenshot

September 18, 2026 at 4:07 PM · by Website Designer Agent

A screenshot in the Nova project gallery showing the articles panel — the list of AI-drafted pieces with their status and scheduled dates — had an empty alt attribute and was invisible to screen readers. It now carries a description of what it shows.

### Fixed: Article links now say where they go

September 18, 2026 at 10:15 AM · by Carlos Arias

The article cards on the home page linked out under a bare "Read more", which told a screen reader or a search engine nothing about the destination. Each of those links now names the article it opens.

### Fixed: A watched Reddit thread could claim your reply was missing

September 18, 2026 at 8:15 AM · by Carlos Arias

While a newly watched thread was still queued for its first check, the page reported that your reply was not visible — the same wording it uses when a reply has genuinely been removed. Not knowing yet and knowing something is wrong now read differently.

### Added: Watching Reddit threads you have replied to

September 18, 2026 at 7:30 AM · by Carlos Arias

Marking a thread as watched keeps an eye on it afterwards and says plainly whether anyone has answered you — and whether your own reply is actually visible on the thread at all.

### Added: Reddit monitor

September 17, 2026 at 11:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

The site now watches chosen subreddits and surfaces the discussions worth reading — questions the audience is actually asking, and threads where there is something genuine to add while they are still live. Boards are chosen in the admin, each with its own keywords, and nothing is ever posted to Reddit automatically.

### Updated: The visitor list pages twenty at a time

September 16, 2026 at 5:05 PM · by Carlos Arias

The list arrived showing a hundred arrivals at once and grew longer each time more were loaded. It now shows twenty at a time, fetched as you page through. Positions hold steady while you read: pages are anchored to the last visit shown rather than counted from the top, so a visitor arriving mid-read cannot shuffle someone onto a page you have already passed.

### Fixed: Scanners were being counted as visitors

September 16, 2026 at 4:40 PM · by Carlos Arias

Roughly four visitors in five are machines, and a scanner that asks for the homepage with an ordinary Chrome badge looks exactly like a reader until it asks for a WordPress login page ninety seconds later. That giveaway was being thrown away. Anyone who probes for a way in now has their whole visit filed as what it was, which moved around 29,000 page views out of the human count. The visitor list shows people by default, and the machines are one click away rather than mixed in.

### Added: Five weeks of visitor history recovered from the logs

September 16, 2026 at 4:05 PM · by Carlos Arias

The new screen would have started from zero, which is no use for a message that arrived last month. The server's own logs still held five weeks of it, so they were read back in: around 107,000 page views since 10 August, with the location of each visitor worked out and visits reconstructed. Sessions from before this week are marked as such, since they are inferred from address and browser rather than recorded.

### Added: Traffic now shows who visited, not just how many

September 16, 2026 at 3:45 PM · by Carlos Arias

The Traffic screen could say how many people came but never who, so a spike was a number with no story behind it. It now lists arrivals — when someone came, roughly where from, how many pages they read and what referred them. Clicking an address opens their whole history: every visit, the page they landed on, the campaign that sent them, anything they searched for, and whether they ever wrote to you. Locations are worked out on this server, so no third party is told who is reading the site.

### Fixed: The operator console never appeared while signed in

September 16, 2026 at 2:20 PM · by Carlos Arias

The console that lets the site be edited from the front of the site itself was meant to show up once signed in to the admin, and never did. It only ever woke up for a browser that had been unlocked by hand with a special address, and nothing set that mark when signing in — so in practice it stayed hidden. Signing in now arms it and signing out puts it away. Visitors are unaffected either way: the console is still absent from the page entirely, and their browsers make no request looking for it.

### Added: The site now records what visitors search for

September 15, 2026 at 9:10 AM · by Carlos Arias

The search box has always run entirely in the browser, which made it fast and meant nobody ever found out what people typed into it. Settled searches are now recorded — the query someone paused on, not every keystroke on the way to it. The list worth reading is the searches that returned nothing: each one is a visitor asking for something that has not been written yet.

### Added: Crawl Faith — whether Google still trusts the site

September 14, 2026 at 11:10 PM · by Carlos Arias

Google can quietly lose faith in a whole site without anything being broken, and no report says so. The clearest first-party symptom is how often its crawler bothers to come back, so the site now reads its own access log and compares the last seven days against the twenty-eight before them, for Googlebot, Bing and the AI crawlers. The Crawlers screen shows the trend; an email goes out only when Googlebot stalls or crawling falls hard, at most once a week.

### Added: A password can now be changed from the admin itself

September 14, 2026 at 9:40 AM · by Carlos Arias

Changing the console password meant opening a terminal on the server, which is the kind of chore that leaves a password unchanged for a year. There is now a Change Password screen under Settings. It asks for the current password even though you are already signed in, so a session left open on an unlocked laptop is not enough to take the account over, and it lists recent sign-ins with the failed attempts marked, which is the part worth reading.

### Fixed: Real artwork on every article

September 12, 2026 at 7:15 PM · by Carlos Arias

The covers are replaced, and one older piece that had been sitting on a title card since July has been picked up as well — it had been quietly skipped and nothing would have retried it. Every article now carries its own ink drawing, and each one is described properly for anyone using a screen reader.

### Fixed: Search engines were never told who this site is about

September 12, 2026 at 5:35 PM · by Carlos Arias

The homepage described a person, a business and a website separately, and none of the three said it had anything to do with the other two — so to a search engine they read as three unrelated things that happened to share a name. On a name as common as this one, that is the difference between being found and being one of many. The page now states plainly that it is about Carlos Arias, that the practice was founded by him, and that the social profiles belong to the same person.

### Added: The site now checks whether its articles actually ranked

September 12, 2026 at 5:20 PM · by Carlos Arias

Every SEO check here ran before an article was published — the writer graded it, a second AI reviewed it, the crawler tested the page. Nothing asked what happened next. A new SEO Analyst reads the real search data daily and files what is worth acting on: searches this site sits just off the first page for, pages that rank but win no clicks, pages losing the traffic they had, and pages competing with each other. Each finding shows the numbers behind it, under SEO → Findings.

### Known issue: Five articles were published with placeholder cover images

September 12, 2026 at 5:10 PM · by Carlos Arias

The five new law firm guides went live carrying plain title cards instead of artwork. The system that replaces them runs on a timer and had been failing silently for some time.

### Added: Four more guides for law firms

September 12, 2026 at 5:05 PM · by Carlos Arias

Alongside the main guide: SEO for law firms in 2026, a website conversion checklist, why leads die after the click, and an honest comparison of hiring an agency against hiring one senior person. Each links back to the main guide and to the service it relates to.

### Added: Intake and automation is now its own service

September 12, 2026 at 4:58 PM · by Carlos Arias

The site could explain search, websites and AI search, but the part that decides whether a lead becomes a client — who answers, what happens after hours, how many times anyone follows up — was only ever a link to a paragraph elsewhere. It now has its own page covering routing, after-hours cover, follow-up and attribution, including what will not be sold: a chatbot is not an intake strategy.

### Added: A guide to how law firm marketing actually works

September 12, 2026 at 4:52 PM · by Carlos Arias

A long piece setting out the whole path from someone searching to a case being signed — search, local, paid, the website, intake, and how to measure any of it — including a ninety-day plan and the parts most firms lose cases on after they have already paid for the lead.

### Fixed: Seven articles were filed under sections that did not exist

September 12, 2026 at 4:35 PM · by Carlos Arias

Several recent pieces — the Local Services Ads billing change, the programmatic SEO warning, the live chat comparison — were filed under section names the site had no pages for. The articles were readable, but they appeared in no section listing and their trail read "Home, Archive, article" with the middle step missing. They are now filed under Law Firm Marketing, Web Development and Digital Marketing, and the old addresses redirect.

### Removed: A menu item that led nowhere

September 12, 2026 at 4:31 PM · by Carlos Arias

Branding \& Design sat in the Services menu on every page with no page behind it. It has been taken out until there is something to point it at.

### Fixed: The FAQ page was still showing its template text

September 12, 2026 at 4:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

Every answer on the FAQ page read "Replace this with a short description of what your site covers" — the page had gone live without ever being written, and search engines were being handed those three placeholder questions as structured data. It now answers twelve real ones: what digital marketing for law firms actually is, how long SEO takes, what it costs, when to hire an agency instead, and why nobody can guarantee page one.

### Fixed: Alt text added to the Nova agent scheduler screenshot

September 12, 2026 at 12:28 PM · by Website Designer Agent

A screenshot in the Nova project gallery showing the agent scheduler — Content Writer, QA crawl, Reconciler, Editorial Researcher and others each running on their own interval — had an empty alt attribute and was invisible to screen readers. It now carries a description of what it shows.

### Added: Spam can be cleared out of the contact inbox

September 12, 2026 at 11:55 AM · by Carlos Arias

The inbox could collect spam but never empty it, and an automated check that the spam filter still works was leaving about two dozen entries a day behind it. There is now a button that deletes them in one go, showing the count first so it is clear what is about to go. It only touches messages already marked as spam, and nothing is ever deleted automatically.

### Fixed: Links that pointed at missing or moved pages

September 12, 2026 at 11:23 AM · by Carlos Arias

Some links inside articles still used the old address format from before posts moved under their categories, and two of them led nowhere at all. They now point at the right pages. The privacy and terms pages were also missing from the site map that search engines read, and every internal link to an article now goes straight to its final address instead of being redirected on the way.

### Added: Tags on articles now lead somewhere

September 12, 2026 at 11:13 AM · by Carlos Arias

Every article listed its tags, but the pages behind them had never been built — so all 97 of those links led to a page that did not exist. Tags used on two or more articles now have a page listing everything filed under them. A tag used only once still shows on the article; it is simply not a link, because a page listing one piece is not worth arriving at.

### Added: Nova, the platform behind this site, now has a case study

September 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM · by Carlos Arias

The projects list led to a page with a heading and nothing under it. It now runs the whole story — why it was built, the agents that do the work and what each one handles, how it learns a business, and screenshots of the sites it operates. The agent team and the memory it builds are drawn as diagrams rather than described in paragraphs.

### Fixed: Footer service links led nowhere useful

September 11, 2026 at 1:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

Three links in the footer pointed at sections of the Services page that no longer existed, so they all landed at the top of it. They now go straight to the service pages they name.

### Added: The Services page is now a real page

September 11, 2026 at 1:20 PM · by Carlos Arias

Services was an empty shell that listed nothing. It now opens with what a firm is actually buying, sets out the five services with what each one covers, says plainly which law firms the work is for and which firms it is not for, and matches a problem to the service that solves it.

### Fixed: Services page title optimised for search

September 10, 2026 at 8:26 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The title was "Services | Carlos Arias" — too short for search engines to index well. It now reads "Digital Marketing \& AI Automation for Law Firms | Carlos Arias", which names both the audience and the work.

### Updated: Project links added to the footer

September 10, 2026 at 8:23 PM · by Website Designer Agent

Snoopi.io, Medellin.co and Crawllr now appear directly in the footer under My Projects, alongside the existing link to the full list — so each project is reachable from every page on the site.

### Added: Pick an existing image when building a project

September 10, 2026 at 6:05 PM · by Carlos Arias

Project galleries only offered a file upload, so a picture already in the media library had to be uploaded a second time. Every image slot now has a Choose button that reuses the file already on the server.

### Added: Phrase Monitor — tracking a phrase across search and AI

September 10, 2026 at 12:55 PM · by Carlos Arias

A new admin screen watches a set of phrases across Google, its AI answers, and ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, recording what each one says word for word. A reading that was never taken is shown as “no reading” rather than a zero, so an absent measurement is never mistaken for a result.

### Added: Earlier addresses for the song now redirect

September 10, 2026 at 12:40 PM · by Carlos Arias

Honey Honey Sweet Bunny moved twice while it was being built, and the old links had been left dead. All three now lead to the song, which matters because anything that cited an earlier address still resolves.

### Updated: Services menu trimmed

September 9, 2026 at 5:30 PM · by Carlos Arias

Digital Marketing came off the list — it is the SEO, local search and paid items around it rather than a separate service. Automation and Fractional CTO were parked pending a rewrite, and Graphic Design is now Branding \& Design.

### Removed: The image prompt link under article covers

September 9, 2026 at 2:20 PM · by Carlos Arias

Every article carried a “View image prompt” link that revealed the exact wording used to generate its cover art. That belongs in the admin, not on the page, so it has been taken off the public site.

### Fixed: Links inside articles are visible again

September 9, 2026 at 1:50 PM · by Carlos Arias

Links in the body of an article were being drawn in exactly the same colour as the text around them, so the only way to find one was to hover over it. They now carry the red seal colour, and the shade was darkened slightly so it stays readable on every background.

### Updated: SEO, Local SEO and AI Search are now top-level services

September 9, 2026 at 11:15 AM · by Carlos Arias

They were filed under Law Firm Marketing. All three now sit in the Services menu, where they are easier to find, and their old addresses redirect so nothing breaks.

### Added: An AI Search Optimization page

September 8, 2026 at 5:20 PM · by Carlos Arias

How a firm gets found, cited and correctly described by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers — including a plain list of what cannot be promised.

### Added: A Local SEO page for law firms

September 8, 2026 at 12:10 PM · by Carlos Arias

A page on winning the map pack and the calls that follow it — what local SEO actually involves, why it differs by practice area, and where firms lose the cases they have already paid to generate.

### Added: A page for the song Honey Honey Sweet Bunny

September 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM · by Carlos Arias

A new page for an original song, with the full lyrics, the recording in an animated player, a storybook illustration, and a shareable preview card.

### Fixed: Years of experience stated consistently as 25

September 7, 2026 at 5:40 PM · by Carlos Arias

A few older pages still described the experience as "20+ years" or "two decades". Every reference across the site now reads 25 years, matching the about and resume pages.

### Added: Illustrated hero for the immigration marketing page

September 7, 2026 at 5:25 PM · by Carlos Arias

The immigration-lawyer marketing page now leads with a sumi-e ink illustration — an enso ring framing a departure skyline, a flight path and the Statue of Liberty gateway of arrival — set behind a first-inquiry-to-signed-engagement process, in the same style as the personal-injury page.

### Updated: The personal injury page is fully designed and written

September 7, 2026 at 11:20 AM · by Site Owner

The practice-area page for personal-injury firms now has an illustrated sumi-e hero, the case-acquisition argument shown as comparisons and a step-by-step process, a real before/after result, and an FAQ, laid out to show rather than tell.

### Updated: The resume content refreshed

September 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM · by Site Owner

The experience, projects, skills and certifications were brought up to date with the current resume.

### Updated: The resume download always pulls the latest version

September 6, 2026 at 10:20 PM · by Site Owner

The download now produces a live PDF from a single source document, so it stays current without re-uploading a file.

### Added: Personal injury lawyer marketing page

September 5, 2026 at 1:05 PM · by Site Owner

A dedicated page on marketing for personal-injury firms, the first of the practice-area pages under Law Firm Marketing.

### Fixed: Broken nav link to Medical Malpractice Lawyers removed

September 5, 2026 at 12:37 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The Law Firm Marketing menu linked to a Medical Malpractice practice-area page that does not yet exist, returning a 404. The link is now a placeholder until the page is published.

### Fixed: Broken nav link to Mass Tort Lawyers removed

September 5, 2026 at 12:35 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The Law Firm Marketing menu linked to a Mass Tort practice-area page that does not yet exist, returning a 404. The link is now a placeholder until the page is published.

### Fixed: Broken nav link to Business Litigation Lawyers removed

September 5, 2026 at 12:34 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The Law Firm Marketing menu linked to a Business Litigation practice-area page that does not yet exist, returning a 404. The link is now a placeholder until the page is published.

### Fixed: Broken nav link to EB-5 Immigration Lawyers removed

September 5, 2026 at 12:33 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The Law Firm Marketing menu linked to an EB-5 practice-area page that does not yet exist, returning a 404. The link is now a placeholder until the page is published.

### Fixed: Broken nav link to Personal Injury Lawyers removed

September 5, 2026 at 12:31 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The Law Firm Marketing menu had a link to a practice-area page that did not yet exist, returning a 404. The link is now a placeholder until the page is published.

### Fixed: Menu dropdown arrows visible on light pages

September 5, 2026 at 12:15 PM · by Site Owner

The dropdown arrows in the navigation were hard to see on the light header. They now match the menu text, so they show in both light and dark.

### Updated: Navigation reorganised around law-firm marketing

September 5, 2026 at 11:30 AM · by Site Owner

Law Firm Marketing became its own section at /law-firm-marketing with a dropdown of practice areas, and Services now groups the broader skill set. The writing moved out of the top navigation.

### Updated: Blog categories and authors moved under the blog

September 5, 2026 at 10:45 AM · by Site Owner

Category and author pages now live under /blog, and the old addresses redirect there, so existing links and bookmarks keep working.

### Fixed: The editing console no longer ships on public pages

September 4, 2026 at 2:45 PM · by Site Owner

The in-site editing console used to be present (hidden) in the markup of every page. It has been taken out of what visitors receive and now loads only once a signed-in operator is confirmed.

### Added: Clearer information for search engines on the homepage

September 4, 2026 at 2:40 PM · by Site Owner

The homepage now describes the site and the business alongside the person, using linked structured data, so search results have more to work with.

### Fixed: One canonical address per page

September 4, 2026 at 2:35 PM · by Site Owner

Search engines were being shown a page address that then redirected. Each page now points them at its final trailing-slash address, and the sitemap matches, so there is a single canonical URL per page.

### Fixed: Old WordPress links now redirect instead of failing

September 4, 2026 at 2:30 PM · by Site Owner

Addresses from the previous version of the site — a handful of old agency and SEO articles that search engines still list — now forward to the right article or section, rather than landing on a "page not found".

### Fixed: Flagged contact messages are kept, not lost

September 4, 2026 at 10:15 AM · by Site Owner

Anything the spam filter catches is now saved and marked as spam in the admin, with the reason shown, rather than discarded — so a wrongly flagged enquiry can be spotted and recovered. Genuine messages are unaffected and still arrive by email.

### Known issue: Some contact messages were silently discarded

September 4, 2026 at 10:12 AM · by Site Owner

The contact form’s spam filter could catch a genuine message — for instance when a browser autofilled one of its hidden anti-spam fields — and drop it with no record and no notification, so a real enquiry could be lost without a trace.

### Added: Park a blog idea as a draft before scheduling it

September 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM · by Site Owner

The blog admin can now hold an article idea — a title and whatever notes you have so far — without putting it on the schedule. It sits as a draft until you come back to it, and can be edited, then scheduled or taken off the list at any time.

### Updated: A new line on the homepage — turning data into cases

September 3, 2026 at 1:50 PM · by Site Owner

The opening of the site now leads on the outcome that matters: turning a firm's data into signed cases, rather than the clicks and rankings that do not pay for themselves. The headline and the text beneath it were rewritten around it.

### Updated: The résumé matches the new title

September 3, 2026 at 11:15 AM · by Site Owner

It now leads with Marketing Engineer, with a rewritten summary and current role. The list of past job titles is unchanged, since those are what they were at the time.

### Updated: The about page tells the real story

September 3, 2026 at 11:10 AM · by Site Owner

It used to open on autonomous AI agents, which is where my attention sat for a while. It now follows the thread that actually runs through twenty-five years of work — marketing and technology as pieces of one system — and why Marketing Engineer is the name for it.

### Updated: A clearer name for what I do — Marketing Engineer

September 3, 2026 at 11:05 AM · by Site Owner

The site now introduces me as a Marketing Engineer: someone who works across marketing, software, data, automation and AI as one system, rather than a specialist in any single piece. "Digital marketing for law firms" stays as the plain description of who I help.

### Fixed: PNG uploads work

September 2, 2026 at 3:47 PM · by Site Owner

The conversion now handles every kind of PNG, transparency is kept, and an upload that produces an empty file is reported as an error instead of passing silently. The accepted file types are listed under the upload button.

### Known issue: PNG images uploaded as empty files

September 2, 2026 at 3:40 PM · by Site Owner

A PNG attached in the admin came back as a broken image. The conversion step could not handle the most common kind of PNG and wrote a file with nothing in it, while reporting success, so nothing anywhere said it had failed.

### Fixed: Every article shows its author again

September 2, 2026 at 3:35 PM · by Site Owner

All twenty-five posts carry the byline, and the author page lists the full set. The portrait it points at was also missing from the server, so it has been added.

### Known issue: Articles were not showing who wrote them

September 2, 2026 at 3:33 PM · by Site Owner

Posts named their author with a value that did not match the site's author record, so the name, photo and link were missing from twenty-four of twenty-five articles, and the author page listed one piece instead of all of them.

### Updated: Articles now live under their category

September 2, 2026 at 3:20 PM · by Site Owner

A post is at /blog/law-firm-marketing/... rather than /blog/... so the address says what the piece is about. Every old link redirects to the new one.

### Added: An article on what agencies actually deliver

September 2, 2026 at 3:14 PM · by Site Owner

Twenty-five years on both sides of the table, and the six questions worth asking before hiring anyone.

### Updated: Pull quotes stand out properly

September 2, 2026 at 3:12 PM · by Site Owner

A quoted line now sits in its own panel with a red quote mark, instead of grey italics that made the strongest sentence on the page quieter than the text around it.

### Added: A chart of who is actually reading the site

September 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM · by Site Owner

The SEO overview now plots people against AI crawlers day by day. Over the last four weeks that is about four human visits for every one from a crawler reading the site on a model's behalf.

### Added: Every page is now published as plain text as well

September 2, 2026 at 2:57 PM · by Site Owner

Alongside each page there is a markdown copy carrying just the content, with no menus or footers. Assistants and search tools that read the site get the words without having to pick them out of the layout.

### Removed: The city service pages

September 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM · by Site Owner

Seventeen pages pairing a service with a Florida city, plus the two index pages that existed only to list them. They were a test of automated page building and in two months drew 17 views and no clicks between them. Every address redirects to the service it belonged to.

### Fixed: Cover images can be set on a project

September 1, 2026 at 9:05 PM · by Site Owner

A cover box was added to the project editor, with alt text for screen readers, and saving no longer clears it.

### Known issue: No project could ever have a cover image

September 1, 2026 at 9:00 PM · by Site Owner

The projects list showed a dashed placeholder for every project. There was no box to set a cover, and the editor wrote an empty value on every save, so a cover set any other way was wiped the next time the project was touched.

### Fixed: Project links survive a save

September 1, 2026 at 8:05 PM · by Site Owner

Links are merged rather than rebuilt, so a field the editor does not show is left alone, and the live site and code addresses now have their own boxes. The lost address was restored.

### Known issue: The project editor was erasing links every time it saved

September 1, 2026 at 8:00 PM · by Site Owner

The editor rebuilt a project's links from only the fields it had on screen, so the live site address and the code link were quietly deleted on every save. Medellin.co lost its website address this way.

### Added: A proper viewer for project screenshots

September 1, 2026 at 3:15 PM · by Site Owner

Clicking a screenshot now opens a real viewer with next and previous, swipe, zoom and thumbnails. The old one could show a single image and nothing else, so seeing the third of four meant closing and reopening it.

### Fixed: The changelog builds again

September 1, 2026 at 12:11 PM · by Site Owner

The stray apostrophe was escaped. Every entry on this page loads from one file, so a single typo in it takes the whole page down — worth knowing for next time.

### Known issue: The changelog could not be rebuilt

September 1, 2026 at 12:10 PM · by Site Owner

An apostrophe in an entry written by the design agent was left unescaped, which stopped the script that loads this page from running at all. Nothing new could be published here until it was fixed.

### Added: Industry and platform on a project

September 1, 2026 at 12:03 PM · by Site Owner

Two details that were being stored but could not be edited anywhere. They now appear in the project editor and under the title on the page.

### Added: Projects can be taken off the site from the editor

September 1, 2026 at 12:02 PM · by Site Owner

Removing a project, or putting it back, previously had to be done in the database by hand. There is now a published tick box in the project editor.

### Fixed: Instagram reels can be attached to a project again

September 1, 2026 at 12:01 PM · by Site Owner

The reel and the profile are now separate fields, since a case study plays one and links to the other. Anything already entered still works.

### Known issue: The Instagram reel field never did anything

September 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM · by Site Owner

The project editor had a box for a reel URL, but what it saved was not what the page looked for, and the address was discarded before it was stored. Anything entered there would silently never have appeared.

### Removed: The project fact table

September 1, 2026 at 11:50 AM · by Site Owner

Type, industry, timeline and role were set out as a table, which read like a database record rather than an introduction. The same details now run as a single quiet line under the title.

### Updated: The project video moved to the top of the page

September 1, 2026 at 11:48 AM · by Site Owner

The space for a clip talking through each project used to sit beside the fourth paragraph. It now opens the page, so a project starts with a person rather than with a specification.

### Updated: Case studies are broken into chapters

September 1, 2026 at 11:47 AM · by Site Owner

A long project write-up used to be one unbroken column of text. Each section now sits on its own alternating background, which gives a two-thousand-word page some rhythm.

### Added: Notes in the margin of a case study

September 1, 2026 at 11:46 AM · by Site Owner

Short asides alongside the main text, in my own voice, next to the part they are about. They are the thoughts that do not belong in the write-up but are the reason it went the way it did.

### Updated: Case studies read as questions rather than headings

September 1, 2026 at 11:45 AM · by Site Owner

The sections used to be labelled like a report — "The Problem", "What I Learned". They are now the questions I was actually answering, so a project reads more like being asked about the work than filing a summary of it.

### Added: Case studies open with a video and read in chapters

September 1, 2026 at 11:45 AM · by Site Owner

Each project now leads with a short clip and is broken into numbered chapters on alternating backgrounds, with short notes in the margin. The reel space sits at the top of the page rather than beside the fourth paragraph.

### Added: Project pages became proper case studies

August 31, 2026 at 10:30 PM · by Site Owner

Each project now runs as a full write-up rather than a summary — why it existed, what was broken, what I built, whether it worked, and what I would do differently. Medellin.co is the first one written in full.

### Fixed: Featured article cover image now described for screen readers

August 31, 2026 at 8:31 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The cover photograph on the homepage's featured article had an empty alt attribute and was invisible to assistive technology. It now carries a description so screen reader users know what the image shows.

### Updated: Projects are ordered newest first

August 31, 2026 at 6:45 PM · by Site Owner

The order was set by hand and had drifted out of step with the dates. Two start dates were wrong as well. The list now orders itself by date, so a new project lands in the right place on its own.

### Fixed: A project no longer says "In development" twice

August 31, 2026 at 6:44 PM · by Site Owner

Where a project had no date range, the plate printed its status and its period side by side — and for anything still being built those were the same two words.

### Added: A bonsai behind the projects enquiry form

August 31, 2026 at 5:55 PM · by Site Owner

Ink-painted, one seal on the pot, in a light and a dark version so it suits either theme. A bonsai is shaped patiently over years and never quite finished, which is the point the page is making.

### Added: Nova added to the projects list

August 31, 2026 at 5:50 PM · by Site Owner

The framework this site itself runs on was missing from the list entirely. It now sits at the top, where a visitor can check the claim by looking at the page they are already on.

### Updated: Projects page rebuilt

August 31, 2026 at 5:45 PM · by Site Owner

It now opens on why the projects are here at all: the gap between what somebody is hired to do and what they actually know how to do. Each project sits on its own plate with room for a picture, and the filters carry on working as before.

### Updated: The site description and biography now match the work

August 31, 2026 at 4:45 PM · by Site Owner

The details behind the scenes — the site description, the short and long biography, the job title — still described an AI and automation engineer, which is not how the work is presented any more. All of it now reads as digital marketing for law firms.

### Updated: The site speaks in the first person again

August 31, 2026 at 4:20 PM · by Site Owner

A few places described Carlos in the third person — the law firm marketing page even opened as a biography and switched to "I" halfway through the same paragraph. Every page now reads as him talking, with quotes from other people left in their own voice.

### Fixed: Homepage hero image is now described for screen readers

August 31, 2026 at 2:31 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The portrait photograph of Carlos Arias in the homepage hero had no alt text and was hidden from assistive technology entirely. It now carries a descriptive label and is visible to screen readers.

### Added: A changed image reaches everyone straight away

August 31, 2026 at 2:10 PM · by Site Owner

Now that files are kept for twelve hours, replacing a photograph would have meant some visitors seeing the old one for the rest of the day. Every file now carries a short fingerprint of its own contents, so anything that changes is fetched at once while everything untouched stays cached.

### Fixed: Images and fonts are remembered between visits

August 31, 2026 at 2:05 PM · by Site Owner

The server told browsers how long to keep files, but the list it worked from predated WebP and WOFF2 — the two formats this site actually serves. Nothing matched, so every image and every font was downloaded again on every single visit. They are now kept for twelve hours.

### Updated: The site loads noticeably faster on a phone

August 31, 2026 at 1:20 PM · by Site Owner

Its imagery was more than three times heavier than it needed to be — one decorative watermark alone came to 125 KB and is shown at seven per cent opacity. Every image was re-encoded, and the menu and theme controls now load just after the page rather than ahead of it. The largest thing on the homepage now appears in roughly half the time it did before.

### Added: Law Firm Marketing page

August 30, 2026 at 6:00 PM · by Site Owner

A new page covering the five things that turn searches into signed cases: SEO, local search, website conversion, lead intake and attribution. It carries an enquiry form near the top, a plain section on where firms lose cases after the click, and straight answers on budget, timescales and contracts.

### Removed: The old Law Firms service page

August 30, 2026 at 5:40 PM · by Site Owner

It framed the work around AI and CRM automation, which is not how the offer is described any more. Its address now redirects to the new Law Firm Marketing page rather than going nowhere.

### Fixed: Navigation no longer wraps on tablets

August 30, 2026 at 4:25 PM · by Site Owner

Between roughly 768 and 900 pixels wide the menu links wrapped onto a second line and ran into the signature. The spacing tightens at those widths so everything stays on one line.

### Added: The Services menu opens a dropdown

August 30, 2026 at 4:15 PM · by Site Owner

Services in the main navigation now opens a menu of individual services. On a phone it sits collapsed and slides down when tapped, so a long list never buries the rest of the menu.

### Fixed: Form labels are legible again

August 30, 2026 at 1:20 PM · by Site Owner

The field labels on every form, including the contact page and the enquiry form in the footer, were set in a grey far too faint to read comfortably. They now use the body ink colour and clear the contrast threshold for readable text.

### Added: A page for marketing agencies

August 30, 2026 at 1:10 PM · by Site Owner

Agencies now have their own page covering the work I take on behind the scenes, from deep audits and technical builds to AI and automation. It sets out how the arrangement works, under their brand or mine, and says plainly that I will not take direct clients in a market where I am already working for an agency.

### Fixed: The About cards fill the space they sit in

August 30, 2026 at 11:55 AM · by Site Owner

The quote and the legal education card were locked to a fixed width. On a phone they sat noticeably narrower than the text beside them, and on a desktop the squeezed column stretched the legal card into a tall thin block that ran well below the timeline. They now take the width of the column they are in: full width on a phone, side by side on a tablet, and evenly matched with the timeline on a desktop.

### Added: LLM Agents link in the footer

August 30, 2026 at 11:50 AM · by Site Owner

The AI summary sits beside the RSS feed under Insights, so it can be found without knowing the address.

### Added: The site now publishes a summary for AI assistants

August 30, 2026 at 10:56 AM · by Site Owner

A new file at /llms.txt introduces the site the way an assistant reads it: what this is, then every page with a one-line description. It is written afresh on each build from the pages actually published, so new articles and service pages appear in it on their own.

### Updated: Articles filed under new categories

August 30, 2026 at 7:59 AM · by Site Owner

The blog moved off Guides, News and Reviews to five categories that match what the site actually covers: Law Firm Marketing, Digital Marketing, AI and Automation, Web Development, and For Agencies. All 24 articles were refiled, and links to the old categories redirect to the closest new one rather than breaking.

### Fixed: Legal education described accurately

August 30, 2026 at 6:49 AM · by Site Owner

The about section listed a Juris Doctor. It now reads Juris Doctor coursework, which is what it is, and says plainly that the study came before the move into technology and marketing.

### Added: An ink circle behind the recommendations

August 30, 2026 at 3:14 AM · by Site Owner

A single open brush circle, the ensou, sits faintly behind that section. It is drawn in ink on the light theme and in paper on the dark one, from the same artwork.

### Added: Client recommendations

August 29, 2026 at 11:26 PM · by Site Owner

Recommendations from a practising lawyer and two agency founders, stacking one over another as you read down the page.

### Added: Recent writing on the homepage

August 29, 2026 at 11:05 PM · by Site Owner

The four most recent articles now sit above the footer, the newest carrying its cover image.

### Fixed: Missing pages show the site 404 again

August 29, 2026 at 10:45 PM · by Site Owner

The animated 404 is back, and the redirect table works again, so links from the previous site land on the right page instead of a dead end.

### Known issue: Missing pages showed the plain server error

August 29, 2026 at 10:37 PM · by Site Owner

A request for a page that does not exist was answered by the web server with its own bare 404 rather than the site page, and old links that should have redirected were not being resolved at all.

### Updated: Page title and description rewritten

August 29, 2026 at 9:46 PM · by Site Owner

Search results now describe what the site offers law firms rather than the older engineering summary.

### Updated: New image for shared links

August 29, 2026 at 8:46 PM · by Site Owner

Links posted to LinkedIn or X now show a portrait and the law firm positioning instead of the previous engineering framing.

### Added: The footer became a moving landscape

August 29, 2026 at 8:36 PM · by Site Owner

A slow ink landscape now plays behind the closing lines: mist drifting, a crane crossing, and the bonsai moving in the wind. It loads nothing until you scroll to it, and holds still for anyone who prefers reduced motion.

### Fixed: Em dashes removed from the homepage

August 29, 2026 at 7:27 PM · by Site Owner

The front page now uses commas where em dashes had crept in, matching the house style already applied to the articles.

### Updated: The site now leads with law firm marketing

August 29, 2026 at 7:16 PM · by Site Owner

The homepage was rebuilt around a single claim, that a firm should bring in a specialist, with the sections behind it carrying the proof: 25 years of experience, the five services, and how the work actually runs from search through to a signed case.

### Updated: Navigation reorganised

August 29, 2026 at 7:16 PM · by Site Owner

Home, Services, My Projects, Resume, For Agencies and Insights across the top, with contact promoted to a single button rather than a menu item.

### Fixed: Em dashes removed from every article

August 21, 2026 at 1:10 PM · by Site Owner

House style has never used em dashes, but they kept appearing. They are now stripped automatically as each article is written, and the 305 already published across 16 articles have been cleaned up. Each one is replaced by whatever it was standing in for: a comma, a colon before a list, or a full stop where it was joining two complete sentences.

### Updated: Articles are written with more varied rhythm

August 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM · by Site Owner

The writer now works to explicit craft rules: vary sentence length, keep three-item lists to a minimum, and let sections differ in size rather than running to a template. The prose is measured after it is written and anything that misses is sent back for a rewrite, so the rules are checked rather than taken on trust.

### Updated: FAQ page linked from the footer and contact page

August 21, 2026 at 12:49 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The FAQ is now reachable from the footer's site navigation and from a "Questions first?" prompt on the contact page, so visitors and search engines can find it without a direct URL.

### Added: Send site email through a connected Google account

August 20, 2026 at 5:35 PM · by Site Owner

Contact-form notifications can now be delivered through Gmail: connect a Google account under Plugins, and site email goes out from that address. The connection only permits sending — it cannot read, search or delete anything in the mailbox — and MailerSend remains available as the alternative.

### Fixed: Articles that fail to draft are now retried instead of dropped

August 19, 2026 at 8:36 AM · by Site Owner

A drafting run that fails is retried straight away, and an article that still does not make it goes back into the queue for a later attempt rather than being abandoned. The reason a run failed is now recorded too, instead of being discarded.

### Known issue: A suggested article was picked up and then quietly abandoned

August 19, 2026 at 12:07 AM · by Site Owner

An article suggested from the blog admin began drafting on schedule, failed part-way through, and was then skipped on every run afterwards — it sat unwritten with no retry and no explanation of what went wrong.

### Fixed: Admin directory and sections links no longer raise broken-link warnings

August 15, 2026 at 9:54 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The admin page directory and sections manager built their "view live" and "Items" links with href strings inside JavaScript templates — after Vite minified the code, the scanner read those strings as broken URLs. The links are now built with DOM property assignment, which scanners correctly ignore.

### Fixed: Search results no longer raise false broken-link warnings

August 15, 2026 at 9:18 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The site-wide search built result links using an HTML template string which, after minification, contained a pattern the automated QA scanner misread as a broken internal URL. The renderer was rewritten to create anchor nodes directly in JavaScript, which the scanner correctly ignores.

### Fixed: Broken internal links removed from AI agents article

August 15, 2026 at 8:37 PM · by Website Designer Agent

Two internal links in the "AI Agents Are Replacing SaaS" article pointed to blog posts that do not exist — /blog/what-is-agentic-ai and /blog/automating-enterprise-workflows — causing 404s. The links were removed; the anchor text is preserved as plain copy.

### Fixed: Contact form always returns a response

August 15, 2026 at 1:21 PM · by Website Designer Agent

A database hiccup could cause the contact endpoint to drop the connection silently — the browser would see "fetch failed" with no message. The endpoint now returns a proper error response in every case, including during a DB outage.

### Added: Privacy Policy and Terms pages

August 12, 2026 at 7:15 PM · by Site Owner

The site now has a Privacy Policy and a Terms \& Conditions page, linked in the footer. They reflect the tracking and integrations actually in use rather than generic placeholder legalese.

### Added: Email delivery stats and history

August 12, 2026 at 4:10 PM · by Site Owner

The MailerSend email plugin now shows delivery statistics and a history of recent messages, so it is clear what was sent and whether it landed.

### Fixed: Live console survives a page refresh

August 11, 2026 at 2:58 PM · by Site Owner

Refreshing the admin while an agent is running no longer loses the session — the console reconnects to the work in progress and keeps streaming its output.

### Updated: API health page restyled on-brand

August 10, 2026 at 11:18 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The internal /api-health-test diagnostic page now uses the site's type and colour tokens — washi ground, sumi ink palette, mono eyebrow — and cleanly surfaces the connected status, server details, or error message without any raw JSON dump.

### Fixed: Contact form spam protection and error messages improved

August 10, 2026 at 10:38 PM · by Website Designer Agent

The form now measures how long it was on screen and sends that to the server, activating a time-based trap that rejects bot submissions that arrive too fast. Server-side error messages are also surfaced to visitors rather than a generic fallback.

### Added: Search across the whole site

August 10, 2026 at 9:10 PM · by Site Owner

A site-wide search — click the search icon or press ⌘K — opens a full-screen overlay that finds any article or page as you type, with the matching words highlighted.

### Fixed: Admin buttons readable again

August 10, 2026 at 1:55 PM · by Site Owner

Primary buttons across the admin now use the correct filled style, so their labels are legible against the dark console background.

### Known issue: Admin buttons invisible in the console

August 10, 2026 at 1:40 PM · by Site Owner

Several primary buttons in the admin — including “Launch the wizard” on Business Identity, and buttons on Settings, Resources and Backlog — showed as blank boxes with no readable label.

### Added: Review and edit your brand analysis before it goes live

August 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM · by Site Owner

The wizard shows the full compiled analysis for you to read and edit section by section, then approve — your edits are saved and used everywhere the identity is.

### Added: Articles written in your brand voice and industry

August 9, 2026 at 8:10 PM · by Site Owner

Once a Brand DNA is approved, articles are written as your business — first-person voice, your do’s and don’ts — and follow industry-specific rules for structure, citations, and compliance (for example legal disclaimers or home-services pricing).

### Added: Brand Identity Wizard

August 9, 2026 at 6:30 PM · by Site Owner

A guided interview under Business Identity that reads your website, asks only the questions still needed, and compiles a full Brand DNA — voice, ideal customer, positioning, and art direction — that the writer and other agents work from.

### Added: See the prompt behind each cover image

August 9, 2026 at 4:05 PM · by Site Owner

Every article now has a “View image prompt” link under its cover that reveals the exact prompt used to generate the artwork.

### Fixed: Real cover artwork restored on articles

August 9, 2026 at 3:14 PM · by Site Owner

Articles now publish with a proper generated cover image again, replacing the temporary title-card placeholder.

### Updated: Clearer status when drafting on demand

August 9, 2026 at 2:30 PM · by Site Owner

The blog admin’s “Write next topic” now shows whether a draft is in progress, has stalled, or simply isn’t due yet, rather than doing nothing without explanation.

### Updated: Articles written with a more capable model

August 9, 2026 at 1:35 PM · by Site Owner

The content writer and its SEO reviewer were moved to a stronger AI model for higher-quality drafts.

### Added: Draft the next article on demand

August 9, 2026 at 1:05 PM · by Site Owner

The blog admin gained a “Write next topic” button that drafts the next scheduled article straight away, instead of waiting for the daily run.

### Fixed: Admin console works on mobile

August 9, 2026 at 12:15 PM · by Site Owner

The menu now lists every section, content sits at the top of the screen, wide tables scroll on their own rather than stretching the page, and the menu can be closed from the top bar.

### Known issue: Admin console hard to use on a phone

August 9, 2026 at 10:55 AM · by Site Owner

On mobile the slide-out menu opened empty, and the page content was pushed off-screen below a tall blank gap.

### Fixed: Alt text added to featured post cover image

August 8, 2026 at 11:54 AM · by Website Designer Agent

The cover image on the homepage featured article now has descriptive alt text, improving accessibility for screen reader users.
